Terms of Service

Welcome to Xeris. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the XerisCoin protocol, nodes, APIs, Ari, the Xeris Computer, this website and related software (collectively, the "Services") provided by Xeris Technologies.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services. The XerisCoin network is currently on testnet, with mainnet in final hardening, and the Services are intended for institutional, research and developmental use.

2. The XerisCoin Protocol

Xeris provides a hardware-secured triple consensus blockchain (PoW, PoS and PoH) with four-second blocks, optimised for high-frequency institutional RWA (Real World Asset) settlement. The protocol is patent pending (US #63/887,511).

3. Use of Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You are entirely responsible for the security of your nodes, private keys, Ari deployments and any institutional data you interact with on the Xeris network.

4. Intellectual Property

The XerisCoin protocol and its triple consensus engine, Ari (our language model and its software), the Xeris Computer hardware and firmware, this website and all associated software, documentation, designs and trademarks are the proprietary intellectual property of Xeris Technologies. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the proprietary hardware, firmware, model weights or consensus engine, nor copy or redistribute our software or content, without explicit written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". XERIS TECHNOLOGIES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL XERIS TECHNOLOGIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

6. Testnet and Pre-Mainnet Tokens

The current testnet environment may experience rollbacks, instability or loss of state. XRS tokens issued on the testnet hold no real-world value and exist for testing purposes only. XRS on Solana is a pre-mainnet token, distinct from testnet tokens. At mainnet launch it becomes eligible for the 5:1 swap into native XRS. Nothing in the Services constitutes financial, investment or legal advice.

7. Xeris Computer Beta

The first Xeris Computers are sold as part of a beta program. XerisOS, Ari and the Xeris node software that ship on them are pre-release software in active development: features may be added, changed or removed through over-the-air updates, and the software may contain errors or behave unexpectedly. Keep copies of anything important stored on the computer. Feedback you share with us helps decide what we build next, and you agree we may use it to improve our products without obligation to you. Specifications are for the first production run and may change before shipment. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the law of your country.

8. Orders, Shipping and Tax

The Xeris Computer is sold as a pre-order. Payment is taken when you place your order, and we expect to ship each order 4 to 6 weeks after it is placed. If we cannot ship your order within 6 weeks, we will email you before then with a new estimated shipping date, and you can choose to wait or to cancel for a full refund. Prices are in US dollars and do not include sales tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is calculated from your shipping address, shown at checkout before you pay and listed on your receipt. We currently ship the Xeris Computer to addresses in the United States only. Once an order ships, delivery times are estimates.
